I just received this e-mail from the Ritchies, missionaries in Honduras. Please pray for them and their ministry:
This will be short……As I write this we are preparing to evacuate Choluteca. Due to the non-stop torrential rains we have had as of late, the goverment of Honduras has ordered the main dam just north of Choluteca to be opened. The Military and Police are in the streets going door to door telling everyone to leave the city of Choluteca ASAP. The river has already crested and the city is expected to be several feet underwater by 10pm tonight with a possibility, they say, our house could be 5-6 feet underwater by tomorrow. If this happens our ministry would suffer great losses. Please pray for safety and wisdom for everyone.
This is a great need and I would ask you to pray.
