Last week we had Bob Landis here with another one of his teams. Pastor Landis’s ministry, Make a Timothy Today , focuses on training young people to serve God. By taking them on mission’s trips all over the world they get a great variety of practical training and experiences.
Last week they held foyr mornings of Holiday Bible Club for children and in the evening they held services with music, preaching, drama and a chalk drawing. They were a great blessing to many individuals.
I had the opportunity to get to know the Landis family a little better and also to spend extra time with the team. We went to a couple of tourist attractions, such as Carrickfergus Castle and the Giant’s Causeway. I also went with them to a protest organised by Sandown Free Presbyterian Church against the "Gay Pride" parade that went through Belfast on Saturday.
Each of the team members godly, faithful and a pleasure to be with. I know the Lord will continue to use them wherever they have the opportunity to serve.
